A friend who uses a Pany GH2 wants to get a decent wide angle lens but which one? between the Oly 9-18 either 4/3 or micro Sigma 10-20 4/3 or Oly 11-22.

She has the adapter so not bothered re 4/3 or micro, a friend has the Sigma used on a pentax and gets great results hense her interest in the wide angle. Any help most welcome thanks. Will be loooking for secondhand so budget up to 300 ish

No contest, the 9-18 wins. Only drawback is that you have to extend it before you can use it. I keep forgetting, and get a message on the screen informing me of the fact!

Thanks Stephen, it would be mostly for landscape.

The "classic" landscape lens was the 24mm (in 35mm film days) which is why they made the Olympus 12mm f/2

The 9-18 really is a super lens for landscape work and is my default lens for the MFT "walkabout" camera.
