Congratulations Roberta. I hope you enjoy it like most of do. If you haven't been following the threads on optimum settings for this camera, then I'm sure there will be many that can point you to the various threads & posts etc that cover this.

Roberta. You might like to read up on some of these suggestions (http://www.ayton.id.au/wiki/doku.php?id=photo:olympusem5_settings) before your camera comes & also you can download the PDF of the full manual (http://www.olympus.co.jp/en/support/imsg/digicamera/download/manual/pen.cfm#body)(which also comes on the disc with the camera) because they only give you a basic printed manual.

You might also like to order a couple of spare batteries & I got mine from a Melbourne supplier (http://www.camera-battery.com.au/s/digital-camera-battery/olympus/bln-1/BBCB-327/) because they have a good warranty with it. You would need to get the charger (http://www.camera-battery.com.au/s/battery-charger/olympus/bcn-1/BBBC-327/) too as the Olympus charger won't charge them.
