Three photos taken last week with my OM-D E-M5 and kit lens.

It is hard to believe there are so many signs of autumn around. Does anybody recognise the plants concerned?

Slightly depressing isn't it? But look on the bright side - it will give opportunities for more pictures like these!

I reckon No1 is Iris foetidissima and the other two are varieties of Viburnum.

Yes, size wise it matches up with that Iris.

Never seen a seed pod with wrinkled red seeds and smooth black ones before. A nice subject to study Mendelian inheritance perhaps.

The first one reminds me of the dog out of "The Thing" who's face peeled back, since it was really part of the "Thing".
