View Full Version : ED 75-300mm for macro?

With experience and knowledge of the FT 70-300mm use as a macro I was interested in trying the MFT 75-300 for this purpose. The specification talks about a minimum focus distance of 90cm (at 75mm) so it sounded like it could do the job. Unfortunately at 300mm the closest I could focus was about 1.7m which cut down it's usability as a macro lens, but it does work - after a fashion. Not really macro but it does have a use for the teeny weanies that you may come across while you are out without a macro lens in your bag:
