I have a lot of respect for the lens tests on the slrgear website. Their sharpness graphs tie up very well with my experience.

They just posted this http://www.slrgear.com/reviews/showproduct.php/product/1521/cat/14 test on the new 75mm.

They say "The Olympus 75mm /1.8 is one of the sharpest lenses we've ever tested. It is tack-sharp even wide open at /1.8" and that is quite a statement to make...

Even a "grab shot" taken under less than ideal conditions shows just how much potential this lens has. I really do think that this will become a true classic lens.

Ouch. That is sharp.

I see dpreview have put some example shots up, but they got slagged off for being poor. For once I agree, some of them do not show the lens in a good light at all.

If Oly would like to lend me one of these I would give it a really good test. I promise I would look after it :)

This was taken with the OM-D, but because it was on loan for only a very short while, I didn't spend time setting the camera up to the way I like to use my cameras. So this is from a jpg straight out of the camera.

I put the 75mm onto my E-PL1 and shot some in RAW and those results are simply brilliant.

I'd like to be first in line for any "test" loans as it's a portrait lens and I do tend to shoot mainly portraits, etc...
