Not sure I can be there, unfortunately, but Olympus will be bringing along production-quality samples of the new m.Zuiko 75mm f/1.8 for everyone to try, so it's not an opportunity to be missed :)

It's completely informal. If the weatherman is right we may get a break and be able to work in the grounds and gardens for the first part then in the "Long Gallery" for the second half or when we lose the light. :)

I'm very much looking forward to trying the 75mm as a lens for a project that I have later this year ;)

I think Mark will be bringing the new TG-1 Tough camera as well, which has system-camera style interchangeable conversion lenses.

I wish I could make it, sounds like a great evening, but I'm afraid I have to pass on his occasion.

That's a pity, would have been good to see you John, especially as I'm busy at the weekend, so can't make that meet.

One of the HUGE advantages we have at the Barking Photographic Society is the venue in which we meet. The Eastbury Manor House provides us with unique location sets in which we can work with models and all sorts of photographic techniques. In the past we even had a dark room as well as a full studio lighting system.

We do maintain a full syllabus with many events, lectures, pratical and social evenings.

If you have a Thursday evening free and would like to pop along as my guest, just get in touch.
