The problem of taking close-ups of flowers etc. with a macro lens is DoF control. I thought I'd have a go with the Lensbaby Scout with Fisheye Optic. Not been comfortable with this before on a 4/3rds DSLR, as it is stop-down manual focusing and to get the DoF required resulted in a small aperture and subsequent dim view. With the EM-05 and it's EVF stop-down focusing isn't a problem and the IS together with excellent low noise make life much easier. A minimum focus distance from objective end is just over a centimetre. Metering works well on A priority and the only issue is backgrounds all in focus, so it will need a bit of engineering to get the best background. As you can see from these images I haven't yet attempted any background engineering! All OoC jpegs with just a little exposure correction, no NR applied in camera or in PP. All at f16. The exaggerated perspective adds to the image IMHO.
