View Full Version : Fine Art At Its Very Best

Since the subject of "Fine Art" has recently resurfaced on this site, may I draw attention to a simply stunning image that in my view most definitely fallls into this category. No, it's not one of mine, though I certainly wish that it was!

It is, in fact, by Shirley - in her Looking for Perfection thread entitled "Windmill."

Don't be distracted by her rather ordinary Windmill image, look further down the thread where she quietly slips in, almost like an afterthought, one of the very best photographs I've seen in a long time!

See what I mean?

I think the original windmill image is a strong shape - but the interpretation lacks a dynamic factor - but Shirely says it works better on a larger scale - I reserve judgement.

However I agree - the second casual 'galeria' image is great, well worth a look

Here is the image from Shirleys gallery
