I'm on a short working trip in Dubai, been here only 24 hrs, the OM-D arrived on Thursday so just in time.
These were all jpegs because I cant open the RAW files with Aperture yet.
The later ones in the Mall are high ISO images.

the ones of the plane are through glass of course.
The outdoor ones were taken about an hour before the sun went down, and it was fairly dull.
I love this camera, feels so solid and stable when taking shots, and I'm impressed with the absence of noise that I'd expect on some of these. I might be a jpeg convert at this rate.
Battery ran out too soon....luckily I had my PEN with me which I used to transfer images whilst the OM-D battery is on charge.

Airport images are with 40-150mm, The Address is with OM50mm and the rest are with the excellent 12-50mm new lens.

Hope I havn't bored you with these!

Not bored at all! Fascinating! Thanks for sharing. Are there any camera shops there? If so, what are the prices like?

Thanks for these, Brian - lucky you getting over there with a brand new OM-D! The shots taken with the 12-50mm, especially the last one, show that this lens is nobody's mug!

Noise free ISO1600..... who'd have ever thought this possible from Olympus six months ago? Amazing what a bit of effort (and probably money) can do.... :)

I didn't see any camera shops in the Marina Mall, might get a chance to go to one of the other malls....but from previous visits they have electronics supermarkets rather than camera shops.
The exchange is not too good so I doubt prices will be attractive. Just asked the price of a watch for my wife's birthday and it was about 25% more expensive than the UK.
I wonder if she'll be happy with a wind up Sekonda?

The quality of jpegs is very good, even at 1600 ISO and as you say the 12-50 is a very useful lens.
