I got an invitation from Olympus Netherlands to try the OM-D, which will be introduced over here this weekend.
And of course I shot a 360º panorama with it :D

Here it is. Nothing special, but I am very impressed with this camera.
The picture quality is superb and the handling, especially with the grip is DSLR-like. I want one!

Click the picture to enter the interactive panorama.
Click the full screen button as soon as the panorama is fully loaded.

Enjoy.

That's impressive, how'd you do that? I'm much more impressed with the panorama than the camera (which is great, no doubt).... :D

Karel, I scrolled down looking at this shot and I felt weird ... discombobulated ... that feeling of being on a fairground ride ... now I realise it was the composition :eek:

BUT your panoramas are utterly the mutts nutts ! :D

@Chevvyf1: Maybe it is because the panorama was shot from the top of my 20ft pole and you are a bit acrophobic….? :)

@Jim: Thanks

@ Derek: I took this one with the Samyang 7.5mm FE lens. Composed out of 6 images.
ISO 200, ƒ 8, 1/320 sec and all neutral settings.

Wow, that is not what I expected. Did you have the camera elevated, as the viewing height seems "high".

That really is an impressive camera.

@Iain, @zuiko-holic: Thanks

@kidslateinlife: this panorama was shot from the top of my 20ft pole (http://e-group.uk.net/forum/showthread.php?t=18395)

@John: Thanks. The panorama was stitched with PTGui Pro (http://www.PTGui.com/) and published with Pano2VR (http://gardengnomesoftware.com/pano2vr.php).
Pano2VR has a Flash detect option, so it automagically switches to HTML5 when you browse the panorama link with an iPad or iPhone and the resolution is adjusted according to the screen size.
I am currently redesigning my site to make use of this option. It should be ready in a few weeks... :rolleyes:
