I'm having an exhibition at Salford Museum and Art Gallery from 17 March to 1 July 2012. It's called "1984 Looks Like This" and features black and white photographs documenting the rise of CCTV alongside my collection of ephemera about George Orwell's dystopian book 'Nineteen Eighty-Four'. It's free and you can see some of the photos at: www.ddcc.tv

The photographs were taken using a variety of Olympus cameras including an E-1, E-3 and OM-1n

HI David, long time since we heard from you, how are you?

Great to hear you are having another exhibition, I'm afraid I won't be able to make it to Manchester but I hope it is a success and I'm sure it will be. :)

Hi, I have been lying low – partly working on this – sorry you won't be able to make it, but I'll post some pictures on my blog:

I've also done a booklet about the cover designs of 1984 which is a free download at:

I have the occasional peep here and the E-3 Olympus loaned me is still seeing good service.

Best wishes, (and I hope you don't disappear entirely).
