These shots look pretty good certainly, Robin is something of an expert with macro. However the wide (12mm) shots with this lens to me were a little disappointing.

My plan is to skip the 12-50 and use the 14-54 MK2 + MMF-3 as an all weather walk around the add the 12 and 45 primes to complement the rest of my m4/3rds kit.

At f/6.3 at the long end isn't the 12-50 diffraction limited before you stop it down on the E-M5.

Huw as you have the 14-54 I don't blame you for skipping on the 12-50 but for those that don't have it then at effectively 150 bought with the OMD it seems like a good weatherproof deal.
