I would say that is something to shout about........ very well done. I just had a look on the website for some of the criteria, and it looks fairly tough.

Congratulations, Derek, from Barr1e and me.

A magnificent portfolio - methinks it is not difficult to see where your passion lies, outside of photography, that is! :)

Well done!

I agree, wonderful shot's. I particularly like the flying escort/rally type shot's, but equally love that shot of the steam train over the viaduct.

As previously said, something to shout about............ Well done again.

No, but I did shoot bike to bike shots for one of the motorcycle magazines in the 80's using an OM10 mounted on one bike with a wired remote running to the handlebars.

Sorry, the magazine has them all. As they were shot on commission the mag owns all the shots and copyright.

To all who have left comments Thanks again. Obviously I'm over the moon in gaining the LRPS. I went along to an advisory day in November which I must say is a must do. From then onwards I have tweeked and print then reprint the panel, until I was has happy with it as I could be. I was still very nervous whilst it was being assesed. I was also last of 3 from our club to have there prints assessed. They also got LRPS
Last night was camera club night and the chairman wasted no time in announcing all 3 of us had gained LRPS.

I agree that attending an advisory day is essential. Not only do you get a good indication of whether or not your proposed panel is likely to be successful and what you might need to do to improve, but you gain a good impression of the overall standard and learn the importance of presentation and arranging the positioning of your prints in relation to each other within the panel. That in itself is quite an art form.

Once again, well done Derek. :)
