Hello everyone,

I am delighted to announce that we have organised our next Olympus UK Photo Safari Event for this Sunday 11th May (yes, I know it's only 2 days away, but Safari Group members get advance notice)...

We will be meeting for the Chatsworth Horse Trials, being given special photographers' access and free entry (normally £14 each) and generally having a fantastic time!

Click Here for Chatsworth Horse Trials Website (http://www.chatsworth.org/events/horsetrials.htm)

Following the event, we will be producing a Safari Group Field Report, with the best of our shots and impressions from the day - we've just upgraded our team working to get these reports out more efficiently, so expect great things!

If you would like to attend this Olympus UKPSG event, and be included in the planning and announcements for all future events - please drop me a quick e-mail to brian.mosley@ukphotosafari.org to join our group.

Kind Regards

p.s. this event will be oversubscribed, so please move quickly if you would like a place :)

Wow, what an amazing day we've had... and captured some stunning images too! We're trying out a new method of coordinating our follow up report, so hopefully we'll have something to share very soon.

In the meantime, here are a couple of mine from today

E-3 + 50-200mm SWD
1/400s f/3.5 at 200.0mm iso100

1/4000s f/2.8 at 25.0mm iso200

The E-420 + pancake lens proved to be extremely fast to use and very unobtrusive too.

We had a fantastic day, and we'll be having another event next weekend in Whitby - I'm really looking forward to that one.

Kind Regards
