I love bluebells and bluebell woods. Here are a couple of shots that I liked from this year. Two ways of seeing them and interpreting the sense of wonder on being faced with acres (literally) of blue. Wonderful place.

What do you think. Gently remember!

I like these :) The second is good, but ordinary, I think maybe it would have benefited from being shot early morning/later evening for some soft warm light. Or something. Good though.
But the first... I really like that one. Unconventional using the main subject mostly obscured, but it works well, and good colours. Quite a delicate feel.

All the best,
Phil

Thank you. I will try and go later in the day for the extra warmth it is a good point. I tend to always end up at the wrong time of day due to travel times... so starting out after lunch should do it. Getting any sort of light at that time of year is good.

thanks

I love the dream like quality of the first shot. Have to agree about number 2 very nice but would you want to hang it on your wall?

Agree with the others, first shot unusual and attractive, second shot may have benefitted from a higher viewpoint thus showing greater depth.
Cheers

Don't have to be gentle .... the first one is simply gorgeous, the second I like. You are lucky to live in a country that has bluebells .... they are always on the way out as I am on the in!!

I am told by good friends that Canada is a lovely place (I've not visited yet) so you probably have equally great scenery and wildlife pictures.

I have always been amazed by bluebells and look forward to the spring. The emotional impact of blanket colour is so overwhelming that you cannot capture it in a photograph. I was contrasting just two different sides of how I see them, but have hundreds of others for true aficionados who enjoy a long slideshow!

best wishes

Peter
