Just registered for the E3 promotion.

This note was of interest:

This promotion applies only to cameras purchased in your country.
Invoice and warranty card copies must be received by 30th December 2007 to be eligible for this promotion.

Sounds like you need to purchase and get the copies back by 30th December. There is an email address to send them to so anybody lucky to get an E3 for Christmas will need to register quick :)

Will there be supply issues of E3s that mean people can not send the details required back in time?

This was clarified by Olympus UK recently on Four Thirds User - as long as you can prove that you ordered your E-3 by the end of the year, even if you don't actually receive it (which would be down to Olympus getting supplies to dealers) then you will still qualify for the promo gift(s).

Many thanks for the clarification, that is great news.

I am a little confused about which web site you have to sign up for.

At this web page

http://www.olympus.co.uk/consumer/dslr_probackpack.htm

There is the link for the back pack which all E3 purchases would qualify for.

At this web page

http://www.olympus.co.uk/consumer/dslr_powergrip.htm

There is a link to register existing E-series cameras to get the Powergrip as well.

Anybody know if you need to sign into both web sites if you are an existing E-series owner or just the powergrip one?

Many thanks

Anyone eligible for the power grip will also get a back pack, so I'd say the power grip form is the one to fill out, but I will seek further clarification this coming week.

That would be useful, thanks. :)

I have not been able to logon to my personal account on the Olympus web site to check that my existing E300 is registered. I just get error messages but the send password function works fine so I know I am using my correct userid and password at the Olympus site.

As such I haven't registered at the powergrip page yet as it states you need to have registered your camera first. I think I have but wanted to check and now I am stuck unable to logon at the Olympus website to check :(

Olympus consumer site is back now and I managed to log in :)

Good job as I had not registered my E-300 camera back in 2005, I had only registered the software

Before registering for the promotion it is worth checking that you have registered your E-series camera first at:
