Hi All,

This may be a daft question but when I upgraded the software recently I got the additional facility of inputting the focal length of the lens. This is for unsupported lensesI believe.
My concern/question is that when I use the 11-22 Oly, 18-50 Sigma and 70-300 Oly lens there is no indication that the focal length is being detected. When I look at the exif data the correct, used, focal length is shown.
Do I need to enter the FL at all times or does the IS pick up and use the correct FL automatically?

Many thanks,

Adrian

This additional facility is only for when you are using the lens mount adapter with Om lenses. You then get to input the focal length, so the in camera IS can set the correct parameters for that particular lens.
All 4/3rds lenses, Olympus or third party are all detected automatically by the camera with no manual input required.
