I didn't want to put this in the other thread as it is so wide it might spoil other people's viewing.

Thanks all for commenting. The scenery there was absolutely breathtaking - it really could give the Grand Canyon a run for it's money.

Absolutely stunning vista, very well caught. And very considerate of you to put it in its own thread.

I would love to go there and these shots from the meet reinforce the feeling, but with my track record it would just chuck it down with rain and limit visibility to 10 yards :(

Ten frames! wow - the most I managed was about 7. What software did you use?

I think these were 5 or 6 frames, vertically shot like yours.

I used Photoshop CS3. Thanks for the tip of shooting them in portrait mode you get far more height in the finished panorama

That's a good result; CS3 isn't the best stitcher, so you did very well! :)
