For some time now I've been using an off camera flash lead which I bought from Mike's Cameras on Ebay, but it's a bit restricting as it's a coiled lead. The same seller is now offering an uncoiled one for Canon, which I believe is compatible with Olympus, for 26.80, but before I buy one I thought I'd ask if anyone knows of any alternatives? Thanks for any help.

Don't bother with a lead, go for one of these (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Wireless-Studio-Flash-Trigger-x-3-Recv-Canon-Nikon-/280679192849?_trksid=p4340.m263&_trkparms=algo%3DDLSL%252BSIC%26its%3DI%26itu%3DUC I%252BIA%252BUA%252BFICS%252BUFI%252BDDSIC%26otn%3 D8%26pmod%3D270571856071%252B270571856071%26po%3D% 26ps%3D63%26clkid%3D299061007084702449) sets...

I have one of those as well - I need the lead to retain TTL metering.

I've modified my FL-CB05 by inserting an in-line plug and socket so that I can have either the original curly lead or extend it to any length by inserting a standard computer keyboard extension lead. Full TTL and any length and costs only a few quid if you are handy with a soldering iron.

I'm not at all handy myself - but I'm sure I'll be able to find someone who is. Thanks for the tip.

Considering the other options, the straight Canon lead would certainly do it for you in TTL. The Canon plug/lead is ideal being the same layout as the Olympus one but with an extra connection point that doesn't get used. Also the Canon version (generic made) plug & socket are well made with metal fittings, whereas one of the manufacturers make the Olympus version out of plastic.
