That looks like a job for the Lens Manglers named in the thread a few days ago! Seriously - if you think about it - assuming that the actual optics have not been damaged then this could be used as a manual lens. You'd need be able to put back together the parts in order then blank off the contactors which communicate with the camera. It should then work as a manual focus lens. Worth a punt?
