Hi just a simple question in the camera setting's is anti shock I cant find any mention of it's use it might be obvios but what is it's use and what do you set it on ?

Hi anti shock is used for long exposures and slow shutter speeds on a tripod, it opens the shutter for the desired duration that you set say, 1, 2 or 3 seconds before it take the shot this is so that when the mirror moves which would make aslight vibration to settle down before exposing the sensor to eleviate camera movement that would cause camera blurr. Hope this makes sense to you.

It's often more commonly known as "mirror lock-up".
