I'm new to Olympus, but happy with my E3 and 12-60.

Anyone else here from the Hexham area of Northumberland?

I'll have to find out how to post pictures.

As I'm not technically proficient, it'll have to be simple.

And at my age it's nice to be described as a 'junior' member.

Hi and welcome Rens

I hope you will enjoy your time here. As for posting pics on the site. What I have done is to create a folder on my hard drive to store all the images I upload to the site. All images have been adjusted for web display 1000x750.

Go into Gallery on the website and you will see the bar with 'Home, Search, Profile, Upload Photos' on the right of the bar.
Press 'Upload Photos' and the Upload page appears. In the upload section, you will find a 'Browse' button. Select it and navigate to the folder you have created on your computer for uploading. Select the image and press 'Enter'.

Decide which gallery to place the image in from the drop down menu. Enter a title for the image and an optional description. Now press the 'Upload/Submit' button.

After a short while the Upload confirmation screen is shown. Press the 'Upload' button and your task is done.

Hello Rens and welcome from another recently joined member. I had fun first off trying to get some shots on the site, but with some good advice from the Musicman and after sorting out the resizing I have finally got some on show. Enjoy yourself

Hello Rens.

Welcome aboard. Fife here, although I spend a lot of time in Eyemouth and I'm about to move there. So, just up the road from you, well kind of lol.

You will enjoy it here I'm sure.

Kevin.

Welcome Rens, just noticed you are a luthier, do you have any pics of your builds? Interesting job, and great we have someone here to sort out our set ups:D

I think I've posted a guitar picture. Not sure if it's gone through OK.

I've managed to put my guitar picture in the 'lanscape' folder, entitled 'burning heather'. Along with my dog on a local road, also titled 'burning heather' and one of burning heather. Entitled, surprisingly enough, 'burning heather'.

I'll get the hang of it eventually.

Hi Rens,

Welcome, I'm from Morpeth, in the frozen North.

Nice pics, did the Scottie dog put the burning heather out then? :)

Scottie dog? It's a Westie (West highland white terrier).

Lots of personality and no brains.

Sorry about the title, I'll get the hang of it some day.

Oops, sorry, apologise to Westie for me!
