Nice detail in the second:)

Would have been interesting if you bumped up the iso for the first.

I agree with Greg, cracking detail in the 2nd, cant wait to get my hands on one, but will have to wait till Feb when I can afford it, hopefully there will be stock around then :D

Both nice shots but I agree No 2 stands out. The 70-300 obviously performs well with the E-5.

Looks like a bit of motion blur in the first but the second has good detail.

Yes, No 2 stands out, glad to see you're putting that camera to good use, Barrie. :)

Like Steve, I'm expecting to have the money for an E-5 in February, only problem is I'm not sure which February! :(

Thanks for all the comments. :)

Agreed, re the first shot. I should have changed the settings on the series I had taken of the 'family swan' due to the light etc.

You like that 70-300, don't you. So do I

Is it any quicker to find focus with the E-5 *???

I'm not sure Graham whether it is or not. I haven't taken any thoughts in my mind about it.

I know the 12-60 is lightning fast. So I guess the 70-300 must be improved too.

The 70-300 worked well for Anne and I today and no doubt the performance will show later on her E-30.

I'm trying to talk Anne in to getting an E-5 too.

Put base to base, they would make a nice 3D set up *idea

I like both shots, Love the detail on the 2nd shot and love the light on the 1st shot.

Hmmm I hoping for a good company bonus in March..
