View Full Version : New memory card door?

One of the little plastic bits on the memory card door has snapped off and I've currently got a black cotton elastic hairband wrapped around my camera to keep it closed. I have the snapped off bit but rather suspect Superglue would not do the job!

Does anyone have any suggestions to a superior type of glue and/or if I can buy a replacement door and fit this fairly easily without too much expense?

Many thanks!

you can try luton cameras as they have various camera spares.

I used 'superglue' on the battery door of a P&S Nikon a few years ago and it worked fine, so I'd say it was worth a try.

watch out for superglue vapour getting on or near your camera. The vapour may get inside the camera and leave a white film on components....or even the sensor.
