Out of interest how do you find the button positions?I've herd a few moans about the 4 way selector(but that was on DPR where everybody seems to moan).I think it may be in a better place than on the E3 when using the E5 in portrait with the grip ie you can reach it with your thumb.

Ps not to many good examples as I cannot afford one till after christmas.;)

Congratulations Barrie on your new camera the E5 I am sure you will let us know the ins and outs of your experience. A question please how can I find out how many shutter clicks that I have used on my E3?

Superb, looking forward to seeing your shots from the E5 :)

I was wondering if you would be kind enough to email me a ORF file from the E5? It doesn't have to be of anything decent it's just do I can play with the art filters :) I apologise if this request sounds cheeky.

We (Teresa and I) have a new addition in our family.

Teresa is the proud owner of a New EP-1 Pen + 14-42 Lens Kit. Got a really good price.

My E5 is still on back order and I should get it sometime this week according to SRS.

How did the E3 feel about taking pics of something that's going to make it redundant? lol

Very nice Barrie, I don't think I'll be getting one for a wee while yet :-(

Cheers,

Paul

Thanks all for the comments.

AndyM -

I haven't noticed much difference regarding the 4way. I have to add I have only used it on and off today for less than an hour's use.

Garrie -

I only shoot jpeg - sorry. I hope to change this with the E-5.

Just a few shots to whet your appetite.

I thought the same when I followed the instructions.
You then have to continue with the arrow presses before any info is displayed..*yes
Oops no I had to press menu and OK first then the 510 showed up.
