Time to get back to kayaking...so, is there an Oly compact that is waterproof and does raw images?

Is RAW essential??

The Stylus Rough range seems good (I know nothing about it though!!)

Doesnt mention RAW though - in its favour it does do 720 HD video!

Olympus Tough? Don't know whether it does RAW though.

The Oly Tough doesn't do RAW (as far as I know), but I can vouch for the fact that it certainly lives up to its name. I used it in anger on my recent trip to Sharm el Sheikh and it is excellent.

If you want to do underwater shots, or video, from your kayak - this is the one for you.

Olympus Stylus Tough 8000 (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Olympus-Mju-Tough-8000-Compact/dp/B001O2SA50/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1285832662&sr=8-1)

Very good camera.

Thank you folks
what I have been able to find out so far is that there are no waterproof cameras with raw...
But the Tough 8010....does appear to be a good jpg camera
