The 620 is a great camera but if you like HDR you keep on hoping for a firmware upgrade that will extend the exposure bracketing.
Well I have found a fudge work- around that will give a 5 EV range in 9 shots.
Set AE BKT to 3F 1.0EV and also set ISO BKT to 3F 1.0EV... and then set the ISO to 200...
You get 1@-2EV, 2@-1EV, 3@ 0EV. 2@+1EV, 1@+2EV

If you use a tripod and you don't mind making the bracketed sweep in three bursts;

For AEB in 1EV steps over 5 frames

In AEB use manual to expose for -5EV, you then get -7, -6, -5, -4, -3,
In AEB use manual to expose correctly, you then get -2, -1, 0, +1, +2
In Aeb use manual to expose for +5EV, you then get +3, +4, +5, +6, +7

In theory, a total of 15 shots from -7 through to +7.

As long as you're using a tripod and if outdoors there's not much movement in clouds or grass/trees, then this is a way to get 15 bracketed shots.

EDIT: this assumes you can set bracketing to steps of 1EV, and over 5 frames.

For AEB in steps of 1EV over 3 frames, then...

In AEB use manual to expose for -3EV, you then get -4, -3, -2
In AEB use manual to expose correctly, you then get -1, 0, +1
In Aeb use manual to expose for +3EV, you then get +2, +3, +4

Giving you a total of 9 bracketed frames.

How's that.

thanks John...one of the unusual things of the method I found is that you get the 9 images from three shutter actuations!
