Four Thirds User (Fourthirds-user.com (http://fourthirds-user.com)) is a sibling site to the e-group.

Panasonic is using IBC to introduce the AG-AF101 4/3 HD camcorder, the world’s first*1 professional HD camera recorder to come equipped with a four-thirds MOS image sensor and is the first model in the Panasonic AVCCAM series to offer the possibility of exchangeable lenses.

The way camera technology is progressing these day is astounding, particularly the merging of stills and video hardware *yes

I am into underwater videography and the possibility of being able to use my Four Thirds lenses for pro HD opens fantastic oportunities. At the moment my camcorder is restricted to just a 0.8x WA screw on lens :(

Looks like a switch from Sony to Panasonic.

Thanks for posting this.
