Can anyone tell me which would be the best lens to buy for the E620 to use for general portrait use, and for portrait use at a distance but still with great details on the faces.?:confused:

Would the 14-54 be long enough? Its certainly sharp...

Well, you say the best but no reference to price so I would recommend the 35-100mm f/2.0 :eek:

Have to agree with Steve here hollyjack. I'd say, in order of price(ish);

1 - 35-100mm f2
2 - 12-60mm
3 - ZD50mm f2
4 - 14-54mm
5 - 14-42mm

I have used the 35-100mm and it is simply stunning. The ZD50mm is awesome too. I have the 14-54mm and find this a huge step up from the kit lenses - the quality is superb.

Agree, zuiko 35-100mm! The Sigma 50mm f1.4 is a very good portrait lens too! :)
