David ("Melaka"), in Annie's thread about the canal http://e-group.uk.net/forum/showthread.php?t=10464, put forward the idea of a trip to the BWC.

I have discovered they do Photographic Days for c. 75 day, lunch not included. This is a non-public day, and they provide access to certain enclosures with the help of keepers.

The BWC is in Lingfield, Surrey. Next available dates are in September, the 17th, 21st, and 27th.

The alternative is a public day, for 10, but no access to enclosures.

I haven't asked about whether these dates are still available (they limit the numbers), or indeed if there are opportunities for discounts (may not be if they are already keeping the numbers down).

So we would need to get an idea of numbers before approaching them, remembering these are weekday dates.

Any takers?

Just to whet your appetite here are some samples of what you might see. All taken with the 50-200 plus EC14 on a public day. No cropping or pp.

One was taken through the cage netting and I wonder if you can tell which. Come to that can you identify them?

Great place to visit. I was there a couple of weeks back and got to sit in the enclosure with a couple of Otters.
