Hello all,
Just bought a RM-UC1 (compatable) remote for my E-600 from Ebay. Paid 3.25 with free postage. Was not expecting anything with a quality feel to it, but was pleasantly surprised. Feels and looks great.....even better it even works. Here is the link to were i got it from.

YEs I got the same one for about $5 USD It's great now if I could just get a decent tripod I'd be able to take the long exposures that I bought the remote for :D

Yeah I just bought one of these yesterday for $8.95 Canadian, I have the IR remote but it's a hit and miss sometimes.

Shame it's not compatable with the E-3. :(

Shouldn't be difficult to find a RM-CB1 for the E-3 on eBay John, I just did a search and the very first one on the list.

Well my compatible RM-UC1 arrived today and it does look good, it doesn't feel cheap and seems to work as it should, the cable isn't as long as I would maybe like, does anyone know where to buy a extension cable for this type of connection ?

Just bought one of these remotes for my E-30, very good indeed and good quality. Not quite as smooth an action as my RM-CB1 for the E-1/E-3 but very acceptable.

For 3.25 (free postage) you really cannot go wrong.

I hope you all have better luck with these than I did, my cheap e bay compatable for the E30 only lasted a few outings before it gave up:mad:, I kept having to recite to myself the old saying about getting what you pay for!
Although sometimes not ideal I now use the IR remote thingy thing, which reminds me, why on earth do manufacturers not put an IR sensor on the rear of cameras:confused:as well as the front?
