For those of you who use a Epson P-3000 or P-5000 viewer there is a new firmware update that gives full raw .ORF support for the E-410 and E-510. Here are the web links links for the latest V1.20 released on 22nd of Jan 2008 ;

For Windows users

http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/support/supDetail.jsp?BV_UseBVCookie=yes&oid=75843&prodoid=63061067&infoType=Downloads&platform=Windows

For Mac users

http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/support/supDetail.jsp?BV_UseBVCookie=yes&oid=75843&prodoid=63061067&infoType=Downloads&platform=Macintosh

I am a windows user and the firmware update was very easy. All that is required is a blank flash card, I used a CF card. The downloaded file from Epson is decompressed and then the required files need to be copied to the blank flash memory card before completing the process using a special power on key sequence. The PDF readme file gives full instructions but the photography is not up to the high standard of our great forum!!

Cheers

I did the upgrade to my P-5000 a few weeks ago and confirm it works well, though it's a shame the E-3 isn't yet supported fully yet. It does show the RAW thumbnail but it's not full resolution.

A free tip is to use the sort by file type option - this speeds up the thumbnail previewing a lot as JPEGs are prioritised. (Assuming you shoot JPEGs, which I do in conjunction with RAW most of the time).

Many thanks Chris for this link. Just updated my P3000. Although the pdf states that the upgrade is for E-410/510 orf support, it seems that neither E-510 or E-3 orfs are fully supported. When viewing orfs from either camera you can only zoom to 100% whereas jpegs go to 400% but its better than nothing and means you can at least view them!
