Hi

Does anyone know how to get to the actuations on an E-500??

Open memory card door.
Press OK and shutter together.
Press up, down, left, right.
Press shutter
Press up then right

P= Shutter actuations

I believe the easy way is to look at the last four digits of the last picture you have taken and that number is the amount of shutter actuations, although I don1t think this helps if it is over 10,000. Then again, I could be talking a load of rubbish..............:rolleyes::D

Just tried this and while it tells me the door is open I'm not getting anything else except that warning screen. I assume the camera needs to be switched on while I do this?

Thanks StephenL that worked and shows just over 4000 actuations, of which I've logged around 1000 since buying the camera for under £80 a few weeks ago!
